CFC SFL Fulltime Worker
It was a privileged for SFL community to be invited to give Teachers’ Recollection at St. Ignatius Loyola School through our Corporate Evangelization, Crossworks.
It was a beautiful opportunity for us to share God’s love through 2 sessions during the recollection. We have an activity to open the recollection to reinforce their “getting-to-know” part followed by the first session, Taming the tongue. It was a session that offered the teachers an opportunity to appreciate the use of their tongue or their language towards their students, co-workers, family, friends and community. There were a lot of affirmation from the attendees, of the importance of this “reminder” to them as the school opens in the coming weeks. This session included a dyad and sharing and ended with a reflection prayer asking God to fill their hearts with grace as they try to “tame their tongues.”
The second session started with an activity called Circle of Love allowing all the participants to affirm their colleagues present in the recollection. Closing it up with a learning that it is better to hear frequently positive comments and affirmation to others so its better to make it a good habit to share. 🙂 The second and closing session was Learning to love one another.
The recollection ended with a prayer offering to God the hearts and works of the Teachers of St. Ignatius Loyola School as they ready themselves for the school opening.
